Gary Cicotte School: L'Anse Creuse North Sport: Wrestling Highlights: Cicotte, a senior, won the championship at 130 pounds at the Macomb County Wrestling Invitational with a 5-4 decision over Romeo’s Kyle Witgen.

Kari Merling School: Parkway Christian Sport: Basketball Highlights: Merling posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 steals in Parkway Christian’s 53-18 victory over Ypsilanti Calvary Christian. Merling also had three assists in the game.

Adis Jakupovic School: L'Anse Creuse North Sport: Swimming Highlights: Jakupovic won the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.83 seconds, and he was part of the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams in L’Anse Creuse North’s 99-86 dual-meet triumph over Cousino.

Desmond Clark School: New Haven Sport: Basketball Highlights: A senior point guard, Clark recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and five steals in New Haven’s 60-47 victory over Lakeview.

Mike Perini School: Sterling Heights Sport: Hockey Highlights: A senior, Perini assisted on all four goals in Warren-Sterling United’s 4-3 triumph over Romeo.

Sean Smith School: Dakota Sport: Swimming Highlights: Smith set a schoolrecord in winning the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:05.35 in Dakota’s 93-79 victory over De La Salle. Smith also won the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:59.42.
