Erica Martin School: Roseville Sport: Basketball Highlights: A four-year starter at point guard and a three-year captain, Martin scored a career-high 25 points in Roseville’s 59-55 victory over Warren-Motton Monday.

Lee Lazarecky School: Sterling Heights Sport: Football Highlights: Lazarecky is a two-year varsity player at running back and linebacker for Sterling Heights. Healso has been involved in school plays, and is currently starring as Capt. Arthur Keller in the play “The Miracle Worker.”

Allie Starnes School: L'Anse Creuse Sport: Swimming Highlights: Starnes earned all-state honors after helping L’Anse Creuse’s 200 medley relay team place eighth at the Division 1 state finals. She also was part of the 400 free relay team that finished11th at the state championship.

David Brown School: Steveson Sport: Football Highlights: Brown kicked fieldgoals of 37 and 20 yards, booted five kickoffs for touchbacks and made six tackles at defensiveback in Stevenson’s 31-21 loss to Detroit Catholic Central in the Division 1 state finals.

Ashley Flinn School: Romeo Sport: Basketball Highlights: Flinn made 17 of 18 free throws and scored a career-high 27 points in Romeo’s 45-41 triumph over Troy on Tuesday.

Joe Scrima School: Dakota Sport: Hockey Highlights: Scrima scored two goals and was a plus-four in Dakota’s 5-2 victory over Walled Lake Central in a non-league gameon Nov. 22. Scrima also scored a goal in a 4-3 overtime triumph over Milford.
