Hannah Pugh School: Dakota Sport: Swimming Highlights: Pugh won two events in the Cougars’ 101-82 loss to Romeo on Tuesday. She posted a winning time of 2:14.90 in the 200 individual medley and a time of 1:00.13 in the 100 butterfly. Both times qualified her for the Division 1 state meet.

Deontae Bridgeman School: Lake Shore Sport: Football Highlights: A senior captain, Bridgeman returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown and an interception 63 yards for another score in the Shorians’ 26-22 victory over Marysville. He also had eight solo tackles and six assisted tackles.

Kari Merling School: Parkway Christian Sport: Volleyball Highlights: Merling recorded 33 digs in Parkway Christian’s 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 27-25 triumph over Huron Valley Lutheran in a MIAC Red Division match Tuesday.

Joey Donaldson School: East Detroit Sport: Tennis Highlights: Donaldson prevailed in his flight at first singles at the Port Huron tournament Saturday, and he also took a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Marine City’s George Lewis in the Shamrocks’ 8-0 triumph over the Mariners in a MAC Gold dual match on Monday.

Caleb Tweten School: Lutheran North Sport: Cross Country Highlights: Tweten finished first with a time of 17 minutes and 27 seconds at a tri-meet featuring Lutheran North, Cranbrook and Clarenceville on Tuesday. The Mustangs defeated Cranbrook 25- 31 and Clarenceville 15-30.

Ben Brown School: Romeo Sport: Football Highlights: Brown rushed for 195 yards and four touchdowns in Romeo’s 38-14 victory over Fraser in a MAC crossover game.
