Corey Brewer School: South Lake Sport: Swimming Highlights: Brewer won two individual events and was a member of the winning 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams in South Lake’s dual-meet victory over East Detroit. Brewer is a team captain.

Hannah Schilling School: Lutheran North Sport: Cross County Highlights: Schilling finished fifth overall with a time of 20 minutes and 23 seconds to help Lutheran North claim the team title at the Muskrat Invitational on Sept. 12.

Latham Donald School: Lakeview Sport: Football Highlights: A sophomore running back, Donald rushed for 274 yards and four touchdowns to lead Lakeview to a 41-39 victory over Fitzgerald on Sept. 11. He has rushed for more than 200 yards in each of the first three games.

Kate Czopek School: Sterling Heights Sport: Volleyball Highlights: Czopek recorded 15 service points, 17 kills and four blocks, and she set a school record with a .620 kill percentage in Sterling Heights’ victory over Grosse Pointe South on Sept. 10.

Kristen Kopicki School: Steveson Sport: Volleyball Highlights: Kopicki registered 47 assists, 10 digs, eight blocks and six kills in Stevenson’s five-game victory over Eisenhower.

Kaytee Frabotta School: Ford Sport: Volleyball Highlights: A sophomore setter, Frabotta recorded 38 assists, 21 kills, 21 digs and eight aces to help Ford go 4-0 and claim the championship at the East Detroit Round-Robin on Sept. 12.
