Nathan Hammer School: Roseville Sport: Baseball Highlights: Hammer homered twice, including a grand slam, in Roseville’s 14-1 victory over East Detroit on Saturday.

Ali Lince School: Lakeview Sport: Softball Highlights: Lince homered, doubled and drove in four runs in Lakeview’s 5-0 victory at Fraser on Monday. Lince threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts, and she helped her cause by going 2-for-4 in a triumph over Warren Woods- Tower on Friday.

Eric Lewis School: Fraser Sport: Track and Field Highlights: Lewis broke the school record in the discus with a throw of 165 feet at the Anchor Bay Relays. He also had a toss of 164-1 at the East Detroit Relays as he helped Fraser to a first-place finish.

Nathan Fraeyman School: Romeo Sport: Track and Field Highlights: Fraeyman won the long jump with a mark of 21 feet, 8.5 inches and the 400 dash with a time of 49.1 seconds at the Dakota Invitational on Saturday. Both marks were meet records..

Sylnovia Croft School: New Haven Sport: Track and Field Highlights: Croft won the 100- meter dash in New Haven’s dualmeet victory over Clawson on Tuesday.

Mike Merola School: Sterling Heights Sport: Golf Highlights: A captain, Merola shot a 42 in a dual-meet against Lakeview. Sterling Heights coach Mike McLane said Merola “places his studies first, and golf second, which I believe is that maturity of an excellent student-athlete.”
