Kayla Provo School: Dakota Sport: Softball Highlights: Provo struck out 12 in Dakota’s 8-7, nine-inning victory over Romeo on Monday. Provo pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts in the Cougars’ 2-1 triumph over Stevenson on May 5.

Alyssa Swarthout School: Lake Shore Sport: Soccer Highlights: A junior captain and sweeper, Swarthout keyed the defensive effort in a 1-0 victory over Port Huron in a MAC Blue Division game.

Adam Done School: Ford Sport: Baseball Highlights: Done has thrown four complete games in his last four starts, going 3-1 over that span. On the season he has a 3-2 record with a 3.24 ERA in 41 innings pitched. Done has 33 strikeouts and just 14 walks.

Danny Carroll School: Lake Shore Sport: Baseball Highlights: Carroll, the team’s leadoff batter, doubled twice in Lake Shore’s 9-2 victory over L’Anse Creuse North on Monday in a MAC White Division game.

Karah Wallace School: Merritt Academy Sport: Soccer Highlights: A freshman forward, Wallace scored the winning goal in Merritt Academy’s 2-1 victory over Harper Woods. She also scored in a 3-1 loss to New Haven. Wallace leads the team in goals this season.

Joe McLaren School: East Detroit Sport: Baseball Highlights: McLaren earned the win by striking out seven in five innings, and he helped his cause with a hit and two runs scored in East Detroit’s 5-4 triumph over Marine City on Monday.
