Steve Saliga School: Romeo Sport: Basketball Highlights: Saliga, a senior, earned the MHSAA scholar-athlete award. Saliga has a 4.033 gradepoint average.

Katy Studnicki School: Utica Sport: Softball Highlights: Studnicki threw a onehitter and struck out 12 in a game against Eisenhower on Friday, and she threw a five-hitter with 12 strikeouts in a victory over Fraser on Tuesday.

Kayla Pfund School: Lutheran North Sport: Track and Field Highlights: Pfund won the 1600 run and was part of the winning 3200 and 1600 relay teams as Lutheran North won a tri-meet with Utica and Lutheran Northwest on Tuesday.

Steve Treppa School: L'Anse Creuse Sport: Lacrosse Highlights: Treppa scored seven goals and added two assists in L’Anse Creuse’s 11-10 victory over Port Huron on Saturday.
