Caitlin Carter School: East Detroit Sport: Basketball Highlights: Carter scored 27 points in a victory over Clintondale, and she scored a season-high 28 points and made four 3-pointers against New Haven.

Steve Sattler School: Anchor Bay Sport: Wrestling Highlights: A senior captain, Sattler won his second consecutive individual district championship on Saturday at L’Anse Creuse. Sattler plans to wrestle in college at the United States Military Academy.

Jeremy Ward School: Romeo Sport: Wrestling Highlights: Ward, a senior captain, won an individual district championship at 135 pounds on Saturday at Birmingham. Ward also posted his 150th career victory.

Will Bowles School: South Lake Sport: Basketball Highlights: Bowles scored 29 points, made seven dunks and grabbed 17 rebounds in South Lake’s loss to Anchor Bay on Feb. 5. Bowles also had 14 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists and seven blocks in the Cavaliers’ win over Lincoln on Tuesday.

Evan Rice School: Lake Shore Sport: Bowling Highlights: Rice, a senior, rolled a 300 game at Rosebowl Lanes in the Shorians’ meet against Lakeview on Feb. 5.

Emily Cizmas School: Chippewa Valley Sport: Basketball Highlights: Cizmas scored 13 points and grabbed 19 rebounds and broke Chippewa Valley’s single-season rebounding record in the Big Reds’ 38-30 loss to Fraser on Tuesday.
